P40L-P49Y Contest Summary Information

This was a two-man hybrid remote effort. A principal objective was to further our experience operating the station remotely, with W6LD on-site and W0YK operating remotely from California. We thought we had everything working properly after having spent quite a bit of time the previous week ironing out all the wrinkles. Nevertheless, we had multiple serious problems right from the outset, including loss of ssb capability, frozen/garbled cw keying and high swr. We clearly have more work to do.

Congratulations to all the fine multi-single efforts that have reported thus far, especially the huge mult count achieved at PX2W, the impressive QSO count by our friends on the neighboring island at PJ2T and the great low power DX expedition style effort at VP2VMM.
