P40L-P49Y Contest Summary Information

We were hoping to improve on our prior two man multi-single efforts that netted about 6600 QSOs in 2011, but conditions here (while generally very good) just would not support it for us this weekend.

Nevertheless, we had a lot of fun trying!

We only had a couple minor problems during the contest (recently repaired 40 meter yagi developed a high SWR, the upper leg of 160 meter antenna came down in the middle of the second night, and we experienced some periods of high levels of local noise), none of which is sufficient to explain our QSO shortfall relative to our 2011 results.

Congratulations to the ZF1A team on their highly successful assault on the multi-single record.
